Ingram shuts shop after four years

Ingram London, the strategic brand consultancy, is closing down after four years. The move comes weeks after it emerged that founder and chairman Chris Ingram was planning to scale back the business and seeking a possible sale.

It is understood that Ingram has decided to shut the agency after it failed to grow in line with expectations. Simon Toaldo, the managing director, Ian Robertson, the finance director, and David Indo, head of comms strategy, have already left the agency.

Ingram launched the agency in 2003 after he sold Tempus Group, which included media agency CIA (now Mediaedge:cia) and brand consultancy Added Value, to WPP Group in 2001. Ingram London has sister operations in New York and Hong Kong.
