Interbrand names Graham Hales as MD

Interbrand has appointed Graham Hales as managing director in London to replace Rune Gustafson.

Hales joined the agency in 1997 and was promoted to chief communications officer in the Interbrand Group with responsibility for global marketing and communication in 2006. In that position he reported directly to the global CEO.

He will report to CEO of Interbrand Europe Jean-Baptiste Danet.

Gustafson leaves after two years with the business. He oversaw the expanding of Interbrand London to Dubai and the strengthening relationships with key UK clients such as Barclays and RSA.

Jez Frampton, global CEO of Interbrand, says: “London has always been a vital part of the global team at Interbrand. We live in an age where we deliver a joined up Interbrand to both our clients and our people: Graham is a great collaborator and is well versed in our global network having spent two very successful years working in the Group team.”

Futurebrand recently restructured its senior team and parted company with managing director Jasmine Montgomery.
