IPC gives Now a facelift

now%20magazineIPC Connect is relaunching its weekly celebrity title Now to give it a boost in the face of tough competition in the women’s weeklies market. The announcement comes just days before the latest Audit Bureau of Circulation figures are unveiled.

The relaunched title will introduce more celebrity news and photos and also improved signposting for new readers.

As a long-established celebrity brand in the weeklies market Now has had to battle for its share of readers with an ever increasing number of titles including Emap’s Closer and Grazia and ACP-NatMag’s Reveal. The brand was extended online last year.

Now publishing director Andrew Sumner says: “Whether it’s on the newsstand or online, Now is the UK’s premier one-stop resource for up-to-the-minute global celebrity and style news.” Now is on sale every Tuesday.

Meanwhile sister title Look is expected to record impressive debut sales figures of over 300,000 in the ABCs, which are published on August 16.
