The pitch process was managed by intermediary ICG Commerce and Hertz head of marketing programmes David Oliver. Iris has been briefed to create a range of brand marketing communications, including on and offline campaigns and CRM.

In February Herz announced the launch of its online car rental company Simply Wheelz in Europe. The discount hire company offers consumers rates of around £8 a day and provides free emergency roadside assistance.
