Egmont Magazines to launch Incredibles Magazine

Egmont Magazines is to launch The Incredibles Magazine as a brand extension of the Disney/ Pixar blockbuster animated film The Incredibles. The monthly 32-page magazine will appear on January 12 and is aimed at six- to 10-year-old boys.

Beeney to join IPC tx

Capital Radio network sales manager Marc Beeney is to join IPC tx, the television listings division of IPC including TV Times and What’s On TV, as advertising director.

Pravda wins Express Shopping Channel account

Pravda, the Manchester-based agency, has won the £1.2m account for Express Shopping Channel. The channel is a joint venture between Richard Desmond’s Northern & Shell company and home-shopping giant N Brown.

BT group appoints Ian Livingston

BT Group has appointed finance director Ian Livingston chief executive of its retail division. Livingston replaces Pierre Danon, who is leaving BT early next year to join IT services group Cap Gemini.

Union handed Project Scotland launch

The Union has been appointed to handle the launch of Project Scotland, a joint venture developed by the Scottish Executive and private and voluntary sectors to get young people involved in the community.
