It’s simply a criminal ad campaign

Accantia, the health and beauty specialist, has resorted to crime to launch its new brand, Simple for Men.

The company is staging crime scenes in 12 major UK cities, erecting witness appeals, police tape and chalk outlines of dead bodies clutching jars of face cream.

With the blessing of local constabularies, Accantia staff will be dressing up as police and handing out sample products in pubs and clubs.

The campaign will highlight “crimes committed to men’s skin”. Unfortunately, the chalk outlines are rather disfigured – can Accantia really be targeting pygmies and neckless children? The Diary suggests that you sack your art department, guys.
