Jersey Tourism launches ad campaign

Jersey Tourism is launching an advertising campaign to encourage visitors to stay for longer and spend more while holidaying on the island. The ads break this week.

The campaign, which has been created by integrated agency Communique360, is backed by Jersey’s Economic Development Department. It comes after the island saw visitor numbers increase by 1% in 2005, but experienced a decrease in the amount visitors spent due to the shorter length of time they stayed.

The ads, which have the strapline Discover Another World that’s Closer to Home, will run across TV and national newspapers. It will be supported by online and direct marketing campaigns.
