Jet first to offer cash vouchers
Jet is following its rivals into the petrol loyalty market with the launch of its Collect for Cash scheme.
But, unlike its competitors, Jet is offering cash vouchers to customers who use its forecourt shops. For every ú6 spent, customers will get a ú1 token – with a bonus ú1 when they have collected 48 tokens.
Jet is using the promotion to update its database, which it has not used since its promotion almost three years ago.
Customers have to send details about themselves to Jet before they are able to receive the bonus tokens.
The promotion has been developed by Clarke Hooper Communications. It is being supported by a major marketing drive, which will include a TV campaign through incumbent agency TBWA.
* First Direct is also targeting customers in the first stage of a campaign to promote its new car insurance service. A mailing to the entire First Direct customer base of 500,000 people launches this week.
