Jobling quits Sara Lee to join Cadbury

Margaret Jobling is leaving her role as marketing director at Sara Lee Household and Body Care UK after just 18 months to join Cadbury.

It is not yet known which role Jobling will be taking up at the confectioner. It is also not clear if the move is connected to a potential sale of the US consumer goods multinational’s sale of its $3bn Household and Body Care division.

A spokesperson for Sara Lee confirmed the move this afternoon (Monday 29 June).

The company announced the division was up for sale at the end of March.

The move comes just weeks after Jobling unveiled two major campaigns for the division – the re-launch of male grooming stalwart Brylcreem and a £4.5m shake-up of the 100 year-old Radox shower and bath brand.

She joined the US owned Sara Lee, which also owns Sanex Soap ad Ambi Pur air fresheners, at the start of 2008 after 15 year tenure at Unilever in various product development and marketing roles.

Before joining Sara Lee she had most recently been global brand director for Unilever’s young men body spray brand Lynx.
