Johnson & Johnson has appointed Will Finn to oversee the marketing of mass-market brands, such as its baby and healthcare products.

Finn, former international marketing director for Johnson & Johnson’s RoC skincare brand, has been promoted to UK franchise director to head one of two marketing arms.

He will be responsible for own-brand infant products and the PH 5.5 personal care, Carefree sanitary protection, Clean & Clear skincare, KY Jelly lubricant and Reach oralcare brands. The appointment follows the recent restructure of Johnson & Johnson’s consumer marketing department (MW September 11).

Last month, marketing director Barton Warner became European franchise director and the responsibility for the department was split between two franchise directors, each overseeing their own brand portfolio.

Ann Peart, former marketing manager for PH 5.5, has been promoted to franchise director for skincare ranges Neutrogena and RoC.

Both franchise directors report to managing director Mike Head.

The company says the rejig is the result of internal growth and the need to divide the marketing department into more manageable portfolios.
