Join Marketing Week in the ‘Chill and Charge’ lounge at the Festival of Marketing

Marketing Week will be hosting the ‘Chill and Charge’ lounge for delegates at the Festival of Marketing.

Those attending the Festival of Marketing at London’s Tobacco Dock on 5 and 6 October will have the chance to recharge their batteries between sessions at Marketing Week’s ‘Chill and Charge’ lounge.

The room offers lots of seating and tables so delegates can come in and relax, have meetings or catch up on emails. We’ll also have plenty of chargers available to recharge devices, as well as giant bean bags and table tennis and pool tables to relax in between sessions.

Marketing Week at the Festival

Marketing Week will be hosting a number of sessions at the Festival. On day one, Marketing Week editor Russell Parsons will be joined by a four-strong panel to discuss the issue of gender stereotyping. Unilever’s EVP of global marketing Aline Santos will argue that it’s the marketing industry’s responsibility to help dispel gender stereotypes, while others may disagree. She and Parsons will be joined by Karen Fraser, director of Credos and strategy director at the Advertising Association, Kate Ward, vice-president of international at Refinery29 and author and broadcaster Stephen Bayley.

With the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing spend under scrutiny like never before, we will also be looking at how marketers can get more from less. On Thursday afternoon, Parsons will be joined by another esteemed panel, who will this time look at how marketers can get maximum value from minimum spend as part of our shoestring marketing series.
