Marketers from F1, Virgin Atlantic and RBS revealed as judges for Marketing Week’s Masters Awards

By entering this year’s awards, your work will be seen and judged by top marketers from some of the biggest global brands in the UK’s biggest celebration of marketing excellence.

Top marketers from the likes of Formula One, RBS and The Guardian are among the jury for Marketing Week’s Masters of Marketing Awards 2018.

Marketing Week is the only UK title that covers everything in marketing from strategy through to execution, and Marketing Week’s Masters of Marketing is the only awards event to do the same.

Winners will be decided by a jury of senior marketers from some of the UK’s biggest companies. Those taking part this year include the Formula One’s director of marketing Ellie Norman, News UK’s managing director Chris Duncan, The Guardian’s chief customer officer Anna Bateson and Virgin Atlantic’s senior VP of marketing Claire Cronin.

They are joined by David Wheldon, CMO at RBS, Santander CMO Keith Moor. Channel 4’s chief marketing and communications officer Dan Brooke and Wagamama’s customer director Emma Wood, among many others.

Marketing Week editor Russell Parsons says: “The Masters celebrates the marketing and marketers that matter. There is some amazing work being done by marketers across the world that is innovative, effective and driving amazing returns. We will celebrate this on the evening of the awards and through Marketing Week’s channels.

“If you want acknowledgement from senior marketing leaders in the UK’s most trusted and authoritative marketing title, enter the Masters.”

Attracting hundreds of entries from the most respected brands and agencies in the industry, the Masters culminate in a glittering awards ceremony at Tobacco Dock on 9 October 2018.

The awards are split across three groups: sectors, channels and specials, which include awards such as ‘best use of a small budget’ and ‘digital transformation’. Prizes for ‘brand of the year’ and ‘marketer of the year’, will also be given, as well as ‘grand prix’ which will be awarded to the best of the category winners.

New categories for 2018 include ‘brand innovation’ to reward new product, service or platform launches, an award for ‘customer experience’ excellence and acknowledgement of ‘brand purpose’.
