Kate and Wills get Barbie tribute

Mattel is creating a limited edition Royal Wedding Barbie gift set with Prince William and Kate Middleton dolls.

The launch of the $100 (£63.5) gift set will coincide with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s one-year wedding anniversary in April.

Each will be wearing an outfit inspired by their wedding, including Prince William’s red Irish Guards uniform tunic and Kate’s Alexander McQueen gown.

Mattel has previously created a wedding themed special edition Barbie collection to celebrate Bella and Edward Cullen’s wedding in the Twilight Saga.
