The charity recently told Marketing Week its anti-litter campaign had “lost its way” over recent years. However, it has expanded its marketing team under chief executive Phil Barton, who joined last year.

The Wigan-based environmental charity is setting up a roster of three agencies to provide design services and advertising “for its campaigns, programmes and products.” Itsc urrent roster inncludes Dig For Fire in Sheffield, Lake Design in Manchester, Wunderman and Vivid.

The review will be led by marketing and communications manager Ginette Unsworth.

Its latest campaign targets people who throw litter from cars.

Keep Britain Tidy changed its status in 2001 to become Encams but has since returned to its original name. It runs the Green Flag awards scheme for parks and green spaces.
