Kellogg’s marketing director quits

Kellogg’s marketing director Rob Morgan is leaving after four years in the role. He will join car accessories company Turtle Wax International as managing director.

Morgan would not comment on the move or on who will replace him. However, Kellogg has confirmed that he is leaving shortly and says he will be joining a “leading American manufacturing company” as managing director.

Turtle Wax International refused to comment on his appointment.

Morgan began his marketing career with spells at Cadbury Schweppes and General Foods before moving to Kellogg as category manager.

He then progressed to marketing manager and new product development manager, before becoming marketing director in 1991.

As marketing director for Kellogg, Morgan was responsible for a marketing budget of 69m (Register-MEAL) and had responsibility for Cornflakes, Frosties and Rice Krispies brands.
