Korean car company Kia Motors Corporation has called a review of its £85m pan-European advertising account for the Cee’d hatchback model. A number of UK and European agencies have been invited to pitch for the business, with a decision expected by March.
The appointed agency will work with Kia’s in-house agency Innocean Worldwide to develop a strategy and creative campaign for the model.
Mustoes, Kia’s UK agency is not involved in the pitch. It follows a number of changes to the car company’s marketing arrangements.
In June last year it appointed Toyota marketer Simon Hetherington as its first UK marketing director. He joined Paul Philpott, the former Toyota marketing director, who was appointed managing director at the beginning of 2007.
