Killing with kindness

The life of a journalist can be a dangerous one but, while the reporters in Iraq have good reason to be on their guard, Marketing Week‘s finest usually sleep easy at night. That was until a package arrived at MW HQ, full of first-aid supplies. But the Diary thinks it may have got to the bottom of the mystery.

A recent news digest featured the launch of a new product called Seal-On, which claims to stop bleeding in seconds. Perhaps the makers were hoping for more extensive coverage, because a few days later a box of Seal-On plasters, dressings, nasal plugs and spray powder arrived on the doorstep. Is the Diary being paranoid, or is there a hint of menace in this generosity?
