Kitcatt Nohr appoints former Nike marketer

Former Nike digital brand director Angus Mackinnon has joined integrated agency Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw as digital creative director.

While at Nike, covering the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, he was responsible for leading the development of the company’s digital brand presence and managed a team of seven digital category managers.

Some of the initiatives he launched included the development of Nike Football’s World Cup 2010 strategy, the women’s training “Have a strong day” campaign and the digital campaign for the “Men vs Women Challenge”.

Mackinnon has also co-founded two digital agencies, Nowwashyourhands and Playgroup between 2001 and 2007.

Nowwashyourhands was subsequently merged with Cleara to form Playgroup. Clients included the BBC, MTV, ITV, Camelot, BT and Unilever.
