Lipsy ecommerce director steps down

Kristine Kirby, ecommerce director at fashion retailer Lipsy, has stepped down from her role.

Kirby joined Lipsy in December 2007 and worked on the relaunch of the Next-owned fashion brand’s site late last year. The revamp provided users with catwalk videos of products and more editorial such as blogs and a TV channel offering style tips and advice on buying (nma 25 September 2008)

It is not known if Kirby has a job to go to.

She has previously served as head of digital at Pentland Brands and senior planner at agency Proximity London.

Next bought the women’s fashion brand for £17.4m in October 2008.

Lipsy was unavailable for comment.
