Lowe create Vauxhall Movano campaign

Lowe has created a television campaign for the Vauxhall Movano heavy van, the first time a Vauxhall van has been advertised on TV since 1992. The ad will break on April 6 during a Champions League football match on ITV, and will run for a month. It shows a cowering apprentice who lights a match to find himself lost inside the cavernous expanse of the van, a development of the ‘seriously big’ theme used in outdoor and press advertising. As well as the recently launched Movano, Vauxhall is promoting its Combo light van on radio, with ads featuring the voice of magician Paul Daniels. Vauxhall holds 16 per cent of the commercial vehicle market, and has seen sales double over the past two years. Initiative Media bought and planned media for the campaign.
