The TV spot, which launches later this month, will use the actress to promote its 50 Plus insurance plan.

Geoff Bates, head of marketing at LV= Life says: “We thought Julie would be perfect as the face of our 50 Plus plan as she’s a much loved personality that people can relate to.”

He adds: “We’ve pinned the message around there not being any retakes in real life to help try and encourage people to think about whether they have adequate insurance in place to help their loved ones or pay for their funeral when they are gone.”

The campaign was developed by creative agency Redtag.
