Mailtrack placed in administration

Mailtrack, the independent digital marketing specialist, has gone into administration

The company offered clients digital marketing tools and systems, including email marketing, eCRM, online surveys, SMS and MMS, data planning and buying and online coupons. It also helped with creative solutions and social media strategy and development.

David Rubin & Partners has been appointed to handle the administration.

The London-based company was founded in 1999 by Russell Parsons and Guy Marson. It had three departments, Mailtrack media, Mailtrack Digital and Mailtrack Creative and its client list has included Disney, Samsung, Mazda and Hewlett Packard.

The company expanded rapidly in 2008, adding 12 new staff, including Nick Zak, previously director of global quality management at IDT Telecom and former Iris account manager Trica Temple. New business last year included Invensys Controls.

Parsons and Marson were unavailable for comment.
