Mark Ritson a hot ticket at Marketing Week Live

Marketing Week columnist Mark Ritson’s presentation at Marketing Week Live 2012 will be a must-attend event.

The branding and marketing expert will take to centre stage at London Olympia on 28 June to talk about the lessons marketers can learn from strategies adopted by the luxury goods sector.

The famously outspoken Ritson rarely speaks to large audiences in the UK so the chance to hear him for free should not be missed.

Talking about the content of his presentation he says: “We’ve had brand management as a discipline for only a quarter of a century. But in luxury brands there are centuries of best practice examples of branding that all brand managers and marketers can learn from.”

His wide-ranging talk will touch on topics such as provenance, pricing and using historical research to guide strategy, as well as “rule breaking as a norm of business”.

Ritson joins a host of senior marketers on centre stage at Marketing Week Live, including Charmaine Eggberry, Nokia’s senior vice-president of marketing and marketplace activation, and Jim Slater, Costa Enterprise managing director.

Attendance for the two day Marketing Week Live event on 27 and 28 June is free for registrants. To sign up for free entry click here.
