What is the best paid sector in marketing? Are you being underpaid? What can you expect to be paid for making the next step up the career ladder?

The 2020 edition of Marketing Week’s Career and Salary survey aims to answer all these questions through an in-depth analysis of marketing pay across 24 different sectors, a variety of seniorities and a comparison of pay by gender.

The analysis finds, for example, that FMCG is the best paid sector for marketing with an average wage of £63,916, whereas you can expect to be paid the lowest average marketing sales in the education sector (£44,424).
