Marketing Week names editor

Ruth Mortimer has been appointed editor of Marketing Week.

She has been associate editor of Marketing Week since 2009 and was named PPA columnist of the year in 2010.

Prior to Marketing Week, she edited global business publication Brand Strategy. She has also authored five books on marketing in the globally popular Dummies series and sits on the Kogan Page advisory board for marketing publications.

Ruth replaces Mark Choueke.

Marketing Week associate editor Branwell Johnson has also been promoted to the newly created role of deputy editor.

He was previously editor of marketing and creative website Mad.co.uk and has wide and varied experience in both consumer and business publishing.
