MCCA makes key finance appointment

The Marketing Communication Consultants Association (MCCA) has appointed Ogilvy group commercial and financial director Andrew Reeves to its board. The move marks the first time that the MCCA has appointed a financial director to its board with the aim to evolve the role of finance as a key component within the marketing sector.

The MCCA says that it recognises that marketing has become more accountable for services provided, demanding greater budget transparency. It adds that this has led to an increased commercial role within financing.

MCCA chairman Graham Kemp says: “MCCA aims to continuously and accurately reflect our member agencies while leveraging enhanced industry performance. Andrew fits the bill. We welcome his expertise.”

Reeves adds: “As a finance director on the MCCA board, I hope to help engender a spirit of change within marketing’s finance community and advance best-practise across the industry.”
