As McDonald’s introduces table service it must not forget what made it successful in the first place

McDonald’s is testing table service in the UK for the first time as it looks to improve its customer service in the face of increased competition from other casual dining chains. However the move has been met with incredulity in some spaces and the chain must ensure it isn’t alienating its core customers or forgetting what made it successful – fast food and quick service – in its rush to adapt.
