MediaTel launches Website audit database

Online media information services MediaTel has launched a New Media section aimed at offering a single source of information on the traffic levels and ad rates for Britain’s top Websites.

The section, managed by Nicola Mullett, went into operation on Monday. It is available as part of the annual 8,000 subscription for MediaTel’s full service offered to ad agencies via its Website (

The database will include ad rates, content description and either publishers’ statements or audited counts on site use. ABC will also provide listings on which sites have applied for audits.

Derek Jones, managing director of MediaTel, says the database has been developed in response to the “immediate need” for the service, reported by ad agency clients.
