MEN Media brings digital sales in-house

MEN Media, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Guardian Media Group, is moving its digital sales in-house. It was previously handled by sales house Ad Link.

The move will coincide with a major training push, which is part of the Manchester-based company’s strategy to offer agencies improved advertising sales solutions within its online portfolio. Its websites include thejobsmine.co.uk, thehomesmine.co.uk, manchestereveningnews.co.uk and citylife.co.uk, its newest addition.

MEN Media is currently organising presentations to agencies and clients, which will take place over the next few months.

The decision to bring digital sales in-house has been made to allow agencies to deal directly with the company when developing online campaigns for their clients.

Danny Dale, provincial agency manager Danny Dale, says: “The move to providing in-house sales support will enable the whole sales team to further develop its digital sales presentations and will mean that it will be able to be far more creative in the packages that it offers to clients and agencies alike.”
