ASDAVP of Marketing

Adam joined ASDA from Aldi in late 2023 as VP of Marketing. He’s previously featured in Marketing Week’s Top 100 marketers, and Top 10 in Retail, in recognition for his team’s work at Aldi on building the brand via campaigns such as Like Brands, Swap & Save, Kevin the Carrot at Christmas and the Team GB Olympic & Paralympic partnerships. These all contributed towards Aldi’s growth from 3% market share in 2013 to over 10% in 2022. In addition, Adam has also worked at Boots, where he worked on re-invigorating their brand with the shift to a mass personalisation strategy, and spent many years agency side in the UK, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions at McCann and TBWA groups amongst others. Adam’s team and agency’s work has won numerous awards from Marketing Week, the Effies, IPA, Cannes Lions and many more, and he is passionate about driving an effectiveness agenda across his teams.
