David Hamilton

British Film InstituteDirector of Communications and Marketing

David is Director of Communications and Marketing for the NSPCC. He leads a team of over 100 people across marketing, brand, campaigns, content, media, and volunteer and staff communications. Previously, he led Communications at Scouts, the UK’s largest youth movement with 640,000 members. He delivered an ambitious strategy to modernise the Movement’s image, which saw record levels of engagement and a new award-winning brand. David is past chair of the PR and Communications Council and a winner of the PR Director of the Year award. He is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPR and a Fellow of the PRCA.
