Simon Michaelides

UKTVChief Marketing & Innovation Officer

Simon is Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer at UKTV / BBC Studios UK, having previously served in a variety of Board level roles including Chief Transformation Officer, and Chief Commercial Officer, where he oversaw all of UKTV’s commercial activities; including programme financing and distribution, sponsorship and advertising, Video On Demand, 3rd party platform partnerships with the likes of Sky, Virgin & BT, and UKTV Ventures – a multi-million pound, “media for equity” investment fund.

Simon began his career as an FMCG marketer at Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo. He is a Fellow of the Marketing Society and an Alumnus of the Marketing Academy Fellowship; as well as a trustee & non-executive director for several businesses.
