The Millennium Gloucester Hotel and Conference Centre, London Kensington has undergone a major refurbishment to its meeting and events facilities.
Designed with a modern Singaporean theme throughout, the décor reflects a modern eastern style creating a sense of space and harmony. The use of natural materials, bamboo, water features and an upgraded sound and new lighting system all combine to create an aura of calm and composure.
143 standard bedrooms have been renovated at a cost of £2 million in conjunction with the conference centre project. These rooms have an emphasis on simplicity and design with the look and feel of a modern home, using natural colors to encourage the guests to enjoy the calm and peace of the space. All rooms have high-speed internet access, modern bathrooms with art deco fixtures and the latest in entertainment systems.
Guests can now enjoy a varied choice of spaces to hold a ceremony, ball, gala dinner or a glittering champagne reception, by either opting for a more traditional style in gorgeous Conservatory or banqueting rooms with a stunning contemporary Eastern design.

The two largest banqueting and conference rooms, Orchard and Sentosa, now offer improved facilities which includes: 10mb SDSL broadband, Wi-Fi with Ethernet ports, new VDUs, screening facilities and intelligent lighting, complimented by a contemporary food and beverage menu. 17,000 sq ft of event and meetings space has been refurbished at a total cost of £3 million.
