Minxybingo launches first TV ad

minxy_stillsGala Coral is launching its first TV campaign for online bingo brand Minxybingo.com

The ad comes as the gambling giant looks to raise awareness of its female-focused offering. Aimed at women aged 25 to 34 years old, Minxybingo.com sits alongside Gala Coral’s market leading Galabingo.com, which last year helped drive the company’s ecommerce division up 13%.

The Minxybingo.com ad features the winner of a search to find the UK’s “minxiest minx”. The search, run in partnership with gossip site Femalefirst.co.uk, encouraged women to send in photographs and stories describing why they were minxes.

Visitors to Minxibingo.com will also be able to download a video featuring choreographer Deanne Berry from the Eric Prydz’s music video “Call on Me”.

The TV ads will be supported by online activity, including competitions, giveaways, games and discount promotions. The ad is part of a wider campaign by Iris, which has worked with Gala since 2003.


AB InBev names Hilger marketing chief

Andreas Hilger has been named UK marketing director for the recently merged Anheuser-Busch and InBev businesses. Hilger, who joined last year as Inbev’s UK marketing director, will report to Stuart MacFarlane, who was named president of the UK AB InBev business last month.
