Müller is understood to be reviewing its £5m advertising account for its Müller Corner brands, and has approached a number of agencies to pitch. Incumbent TBWA/London will defend the account.

The winning agency will take on all above-the-line advertising for all 18 Müller Corner varieties. TBWA won the £14m Müller UK advertising account in 2004 following a pitch against M&C Saatchi, Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and HHCL/Red Cell. Later that year, marketing director Andrew Harrison left the company and was replaced by Chris McDonough.

TBWA has launched several campaigns for the Corner brands, most of which are accompanied by the Nina Simone track Ain’t Got No/I Got Life. It also recently launched a campaign for its functional yoghurt and drinks brand Vitality, featuring the strapline “Keeps your tummy working like clockwork”.

It is thought that Mediacom, which holds the brand’s media planning and buying account, is unaffected by the pitch.
