Morris steps down as Lowe London creative director

Ed Morris, the executive creative director at Lowe London, is stepping down from day-to-day management of the agency early next year. He will remain with the agency in a consultancy role.

It is understood he will take on the new role after the agency’s John Lewis pitch is completed. The retailer called a review of its £20m advertising account last week (MW.co.uk, 17 November).

It is not clear what Morris’s job title or responsibilities will be, although it is thought he will handle a number of projects such as the agency’s COI business. It is thought he will also handle creative projects outside of the agency.

Lowe is now seeking a replacement creative director to take over his responsibilities.

The move comes after a series of losses at the agency. It is currently pitching to retain John Lewis but has lost Innocent, Twinings, Nokia NSeries and its flagship Stella Artois account over the past year.
