M&S goes to public vote for its latest eco initiative

Marks & Spencer is launching an environmental initiative inviting customers to suggest eco ideas the retailer can implement into the business.

“Your Green Idea” launches officially on 15 March following a soft launch of the website.

The creative strategy behind the initiative and the “Your Green Idea” web portal has been developed by creative communications agency Aqueduct.

M&S will promote the initiative through an advertising campaign that aims to encourage customers to submit their environmentally friendly ideas.

A judging panel will choose the top three ideas, which the public can then vote on. The winning idea will be adopted nationwide by M&S and the person behind it will win £100,000 to fund a separate green project for the organisation of their choice.
