Naked moves swiftly to fill md vacancy

Naked Communications has appointed freelance advertising executive Jane Geraghty as its UK managing director. Geraghty will replace Chris Green (pictured), who stepped down from the role two weeks ago, although he remains at the agency.

Geraghty, who has been linked with a number of UK agency positions, was most recently at broadcaster ITV as a consultant, taking the role of content development director (MW January 24).

She was previously managing partner/client services director of New York agency Kirshenbaum Bond & PArtners and has also worked at Ogilvy New York, Lowe Worldwide, McCann Erickson and WCRS.

Geraghty will work alongside Naked partners Ivan Pollard and Will Collin and group chief executive Nigel Long on building the UK business.

Green, who was appointed to the role of UK managing director last year, remained in post following the acquisition of the media planning network by Photon in December last year. He led the subsequent reorganisation of the UK business early this year.
