National Trust appoints Frontiers Group

The National Trust has appointed Frontiers Group, the sponsorship and events agency, to help the charity develop a long-term sponsorship programme.

It is the first time that National Trust has handed responsibility for its sponsorship recruitment to an outside company.

Frontiers Group will be tasked with identifying and signing businesses to sponsor The National Trust Gardens, Outdoor and Discovery Programmes, as well as events and initiatives around key issues such as food, climate change, history and wildlife.

A National Trust spokeswoman says: "We believe we now have the right team in place to further develop our family of long-term partners".
