The National Magazine Company has moved its £1.2m media planning and buying account into Rocket without a pitch.

The business was previously handled by Initiative, which lost the ACP-NatMag account – including women’s weekly titles such as Best, Reveal and Real People – to Rocket in June. The agency had handled the business for seven years.

The consolidation of the account means that Rocket, part of the PHD group, will now work on campaigns for titles including Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Prima and Company. The combined account is worth a total of £7m.
