New campaign for The Independent and Independent on Sunday

The parents of murdered teenager Stephen Lawrence feature in a new advertising campaign for The Independent and Independent on Sunday newspapers.

Neville and Doreen Lawrence join a host of well-known figures in a 30-second TV ad created by Euro RSCG which breaks this weekend. The ad uses couplets of famous people filmed exclusively for the campaign uttering antonyms which are themed around the newspapers’ new endline ‘Great minds don’t think alike’.

Politician Ted Heath is shown saying ‘right’, MP Ken Livingstone ‘left’; inventor James Dyson ‘tested’, Body Shop founder Anita Roddick ‘un-tested’; film director Mike Leigh says ‘tragedy’ and actress Jane Horrocks ‘comedy’. The campaign called ‘Anthem’ will also feature radio and press advertising.
