Sky Sports is launching an ad campaign to promote its exclusive coverage of the upcoming Ashes cricket tour.
The campaign, which aims to build anticipation in the lead-up to the series between England and Australia, breaks this week with press, TV, outdoor and online executions. The tour coverage commences on Wednesday November 22, encompassing all five Tests, a Twenty20 match and the One-Day International series.
The ads, developed by creative agency Brothers & Sisters, features imagery from England’s victorious Ashes series last year accompanied by the strapline “Here we go again”. Other executions are accompanied by text that plays on the rivalry between the two sides, including “Go Walkabout” and “Pros and Cons”. The media was handled by MediaCom.
Throughout the summer Sky ran a campaign to support its domestic cricket coverage featuring England stars Andrew Flintoff and Matthew Hoggard.
