Sportingbet’s Euro 2008 goal
Sportingbet is launching an online campaign this month to capitalise on this summer’s UEFA Euro 2008 tournament. The campaign, which has been created by integrated agency Lida, includes a new microsite where registered players will get the chance to win €1m (£795,000) by predicting the results of games.
It will be supported by e-mails to existing customers and affiliate banner advertising to attract new users to the site.
During the tournament, Sportingbet will launch a game called Goldenbet, offering people the chance to win €50,000 (£39,750) in daily prizes.
Lida chief executive Lisa Thomas says/ “Euro 2008 is a great opportunity to build relationships with existing customers. Our campaign is part of a wider objective to make Sportingbet as customer-focused as possible.”
