New Look launches mobile shopping
New Look has launched a transactional mobile site to take advantage of the growing number of people accessing its website through handsets.
The site, designed and built by Mobile Interactive Group (MIG), lets users zoom into product pictures and buy clothes through a one-click checkout process. Customers can also choose a delivery day and time and track their orders.
New Look is the latest retailer to boost its multi-channel operation. Asos and John Lewis both launched a mobile site in October while Boots is considering trialling pharmacy-specific smartphone apps for its prescription services to complement its existing online prescription service.
Matt Cockett, commercial director of Mobile Interactive Group says that New Look has seen a daily rise in shoppers viewing the website through mobile devices.
