Nexus shifts to direct bribery

Below-the-line agency Nexus has found a new line in direct marketing. It could be known as direct arm-twisting, or even direct bribery.

Below-the-line agency Nexus has found a new line in direct marketing.

It could be known as direct arm-twisting, or even direct bribery.

The Diary has managed to lay its hands on the latest press release from the Hertfordshire-based company. The sorry missive contains details of a mindbendingly boring “story” (the fascinating fact that it will be at the Direct Marketing Fair) together with that ever-so-convincing line: “I think its (sic) worth running – hopefully you do to (sic).”

But this is the good bit – so unconvinced is it that the story is in fact worth running, it will bribe hacks to use it with a 150 holiday voucher.

The Diary now realises to its horror that it has just fallen for the Nexus sales pitch and has sort of run the story. Do I still get my 150 voucher?
