Nielsen appoints AOL insight chief to European role

The Nielsen Company has recruited AOL Europe director, insights and sales strategy Andrew Bradford.

He will be joining Nielsen’s European online division as VP, client consulting, media, EMEA. He was at AOL for seven years in a range of insight, strategy, marketing and sales roles.

Bradford is also regarded as a leading light in the UK and European research industry, with extensive experience representing publishers within industry groups such as JICIMS and the IAB.

He will report into Louise Ainsworth, managing director, online and advertiser solutions, EMEA.

She says:”Andrew stands out as a leader in the industry, and is someone whom we have enjoyed working with as a client for some years. I am delighted to be able to welcome him to the team.”
