No accounting for Talk Radio’s tasteful package

There is no accounting for taste, and that must certainly be the watchword at Kelvin MacKenzie’s Talk Radio.

To publicise the national commercial channel’s Formula One coverage, it sent reporters and media buyers a package containing a pair of white boxer shorts – complete with brown skid-marks.

Sensitive media folk can only sit in fear wondering how the network will promote its horse racing coverage. A horse’s head in the post perhaps, or a full-sized replica of Shergar in reception?
