There are several inaccuracies in your recent news story entitled “Tesco unveils permanent travel deal” (MW May 6).
Firstly, Tesco Clubcard customers will receive one Clubcard point for every pound they spend on holidays booked through Going Places’ shops and Going Places’ Holiday line.
These points will count towards the customer’s Clubcard points total, which will be converted into Tesco shopping vouchers every quarter. The link-up does not offer discounts on holidays.
Secondly, our link-up with Norweb is still current, offering customers one Clubcard point for every pound spent on their gas and electricity bills, which are converted in Tesco shopping vouchers every quarter.
Finally, our previous link-up with B&Q also worked on the basis of one Clubcard point for every pound spent at B&Q.
