Novogen hires PHD North for menopause test kit task

PHD North has been handed the task of launching health company Novogen’s Menopause Test Kit.

The media agency won a pitch to provide planning and buying services, with the brand due to be backed by an initial burst of activity this autumn. Television and press will form the bulk of the work, and further activity is planned for next year.

Steve Beck, UK manager for Novogen, says: "The menopause test kit will give women clarity in a period of great uncertainty and enable them to make decisions about managing their ongoing health."

Jo Atkins, account director at PHD North, adds: "A lot of people will welcome this product on to the market. Everyone is concerned about the side effects of prescribed drugs."
