Nunwood bolsters shopper insight division

Global insight specialist Nunwood has recruited Asda marketing and retail strategist Craig Ryder, to be its global head of shopper insight, analytics and activation.

Ryder was heavily involved in developing Asda’s “We Sell For Less” programme, which was created to drive price and value perception amongst the supermarket’s customer base.

He will have a key focus on further developing Nunwood’s shopper insight, which combines bio-metrics and a qualitative approach with commercial analytics and modelling.

Nunwood has recently recruited a number of industry experts to head each of its specialist divisions, including Vodafone’s global director of customer insight Andy Moore to lead brand and financial services specialist David Conway to lead customer experience management.

Chief strategy officer James Walker, hired from Accenture, says: “We will continue to hire global thought leaders for each of our areas of expertise. Craig will make a great addition to the team, ensuring our clients benefit from the best strategic direction and expertise.”
